When Bailey turned 17, she discovered that her father had prepaid for flowers. She received her first bouquet on her 17th birthday. “I just dropped,” she said. “I was completely shocked.” When she opened the gift, she thought it was from a secret admirer but upon opening the card, she found out that the gift was from her father.
The Next Year
The gifts did not stop there. On her 18th birthday, Bailey received another bouquet of pink roses along with a card that told her to spread her wings and fly, and that her dad will always love her.
The Following Year
For the next few years, she kept on receiving pink roses and white dahlias along with letters filled with messages of love. These gifts from beyond were all planned by her father when he knew that he would not be able to present them to her in person.
The Last Present
The last letter and bouquet came on her 21st birthday, on November 26, 2017. “I couldn’t help but be so happy,†she said of the bouquet’s early arrival. “I think everything happens for a reason, and I think that happened for a reason.â€

“This is my last love letter to you until we meet again. I do not want you to shed another tear for me my Baby girl for I am in a better place.†And the letter ends with a promise from her dad: “I will still be with you through every milestone, just look around and there I will be.â€

To tell the world how proud she is of her father, Bailey posted on Twitter and told the world her story. She recounted how she received the flowers each year and how she was proud to be her father’s daughter.
